Initiated by wine merchant John Lamb in New York, Patriots erected Liberty Poles as defiant symbols of freedom. An early harvest delivers a clean, crisp wine in time for spring and summer. Orange blossom, linen, and gooseberry greet the nose. Very bright on the palette, juicy and refreshing with quince, pear, lemon meringue, and lingering grassy notes.
Pairing ideas: Pecorino romano. Pear, beet, and arugula salads. Vegetable quiches.
