David McCollough |
Thank you to David McCollough who inspired so much interest in history, especially the American Revolution through his books 1776 (2005, Simon & Schuster) and John Adams (2001, Simon & Schuster; Pulitzer Prize). The author, historian, and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient passed away on August 7th (we note, one day after National Read A Book Day).
